Agape Senior presents VA Aid and Attendance Benefit program to Brookland United Methodist Church’s ‘’Young at Heart” Senior Group on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 to approximately 32 seniors. We had many veterans and surviving spouses of veterans in the group. We had many questions from our audience to learn more about this “largely unknown” benefit. This pension allows for Veterans and surviving spouses who require the regular attendance of another person to assist in eating, bathing, dressing, undressing or taking care of the needs of nature to receive additional financial assistance to help pay for the cost associated with assisted living. For more information about this benefit, please call 1-800-411-2427.
