On Monday May 12th the Orangeburg Hospice office helped Southern Palmetto Hospital, formerly Barnwell Hospital, celebrate hospital month with their staff. Chad Alexander, Gidget Vickers and Donna Baker took lunch to the staff at the hosptial and held a Meet and Greet with each department. We also extended lunch to the rural clinic across the street that is affiliated with the hospital.

The staff was very appreciative of our time and the great food. We were also able to have a small break out session with the discharge planner and nursing staff including the Director of Nursing Marsha to discuss our partnership with them and the success stories of General Inpatient care that has occured over the last few months.

This is an exciting time for this hospital, now under new ownership, and Agape Hospice is proud to be a partner with them as well as a resource to them.
