Volunteers play a pivotal role in caring for senior adults on hospice care by providing them companionship and socialization through reading, sitting, reminiscing, playing games, sharing prayer and devotional time or just holding a hand. Being a volunteer at Agape Senior is more than just fulfilling a Medicare guideline. It is becoming a supportive friend to someone at the end of their life.
